With only a couple of months to go until the start of this year’s eagerly awaited annual Practice Plan Workshop Tour, Sarah Whittall, Events and Marketing Coordinator thought she’d give you a sneak preview of what the tour has in store for you!
This year we are joined by our dynamic hosts Les Jones and Simon Tucker, as they travel the length and breadth of the country to bring their expert knowledge and advice to a location near you! I caught up with Les and Simon to get an insight into what we can expect from this year’s Workshop Tour, the intriguingly named ‘BIG, whole team 10% Push’.
SW: With excitement growing for the start of the tour, are you looking forward to taking the reigns as our hosts?
LJ: I’m thrilled to be doing the tour, and particularly pleased to be hosting alongside my friend and colleague, Simon Tucker. The Practice Plan workshops are always great fun, and I’m sure this year’s tour will be no exception. It’s great to get out and meet up with Practice Plan clients across the country – there’ll be lots of familiar faces I’m sure (so, no doubt the banter will be flowing), and also new clients to meet and get to know. I can’t wait!
ST: Definitely! I can’t wait to team up with the ‘legendary’ Les Jones again – it will certainly be fun! There’s nothing quite like a Practice Plan Workshop for fun, team building and learning!
SW: Les, can you give us an insight into what the BIG, whole team 10% push is all about?
LJ: It’s all about helping practices increase their income by 10% over the twelve months following their attendance at a workshop. Myself and Simon are both very keen for the tour to have a tangible outcome for the practices that come along. We firmly believe that a 10% increase is achievable for all practices and that it will make a huge impact on their profitability and long-term sustainability. What’s more, it’s something that every team member has a part to play in, so it’s a relevant and beneficial day for everyone in the practice.
SW: Without giving the game away, what can practices expect to come away from the day with?
ST: In one word, LOTS! Overall they will develop a better understanding of how every member of the team has an important role to play in boosting the performance and profitability of the practice and a practical toolkit that can be easily implemented into the practice to make an immediate impact.
SW: Finally, if I give you three words to describe the essence of the Workshop, what would you say?
LJ: Make it happen!
ST: Increase profitability NOW!
The Workshop Tour starts on 20th September in Leeds and continues on to 11 other locations including Edinburgh, Birmingham, Heathrow and Newcastle to name just a few before the tour finishes in Manchester in February 2017.
