Why you should attend the sessions at Practice Plan’s Dental Business Theatre at Dentistry Show Birmingham

Wondering why you should attend the sessions at Practice Plan’s Dental Business Theatre at Dentistry Show Birmingham on 16th and 17th May? Here’s why.

Brilliant theme

The theme for all this year’s sessions is ‘growth’ in all its forms. Whether you want to know how to tend your finances, grow your HR confidence or cultivate a culture that both attracts and retains top talent, our sessions will help plant the seeds of whatever you want to achieve.

Industry leading panellists

Our line-up of panellists includes some of the biggest names in the dental industry, so you know you’ll be learning from the best.

As well as veteran dental business coach and good friend of Practice Plan, Chris Barrow, we have previous Workshop Tour presenters, Barry Oulton (the Confident Dentist) and Lucie Simic. They’ll be joined by other well knowns including Simon Thackeray of the British Association of Private Dentistry and Jay Shah, co-founder of AI dental notes company, Kiroku.

Prime billing though goes to BDA Chair, Eddie Crouch. In the session ‘Wither or Grow? What’s the Future of NHS Dentistry?’ he will be sharing his thoughts on the future prospects for NHS dentistry with our very own Nigel Jones. A must-see session!

Informative sessions

Want to know about the latest changes in HR and employment law? We’ve got the dental industry’s favourite HR and Employment Lawyer, Sarah Buxton to help you with that. She’ll tackle some of the most common HR pitfalls and share practical advice to nurture a thriving, compliant, and motivated workforce.

Fresh from delivering our Workshop Tour, ‘Culture and Creativity’, Lucie Simic will once again team up with old sparring partner, Practice Plan’s Les Jones, to deliver a session on how to create a workplace where people want to plant roots, grow, and succeed – helping your practice reach its full potential.

Turning their attention to your finances and how to make them grow will be accountant and partner at UNW, Mike Blenkharn, Dental Business Coach, Barry Oulton and Wesleyan Specialist Financial Adviser, Magdelena Harding. If you’re looking for ways to make your finances flourish, these three will help put you on the right path.

Thinking of stepping away from NHS dentistry? Manish Chitnis and Simon Thackeray have done just that and are ready to share the story of how their respective businesses are now blooming. If you have time to stop and smell the roses, then this session should be top of your list.

To round all these off, we have a session called The Seeds of Change: Emerging Trends Shaping the Future of Dentistry. Either Chris Barrow, or Jay Shah and Nigel Jones (depending on the session) will share the developments in dentistry that could shape the dental landscape in the near future.
As if all this weren’t enough, you’ll get CPD credit for each session you attend!

So, if the growth and development of either your business, your team or your finances are what you’re seeking, look no further and come and join us at the Dental Business Theatre. Afterwards you can join drop by our stand (G50) for a drink (alcoholic or non, you choose) and a chat about how to grow your business with a dental membership plan.
Hope to see you there.
